About Us

My Care Guide was created to make care feel safer, calmer, and more human, especially during moments of transition.

We know that for our loved ones with autism and other special needs, especially those who are non-verbal, being understood is everything. Yet too often, the most important details about a their routines, communication, triggers, medical needs, and calming strategies live only in a parent’s memory. When caregivers change, those details can be lost and stress quickly follows.

My Care Guide was designed to change that.

Founded by a Navy veteran, faith-driven creative, and her partner, both advocates for compassionate care, My Care Guide brings essential information together in one clear, accessible place, so caregivers, educators, medical professionals, and families can support their loved one with confidence and consistency.

This is more than a book. It’s a bridge.

A bridge between parents and caregivers.

A bridge between understanding and action.

A bridge between chaos and calm.

Whether used at home, in classrooms, during emergencies, or while transitioning to new caregivers, My Care Guide helps ensure that each individual’s needs, dignity, and humanity remain at the center of their care.

Our mission is simple: to support consistent, compassionate care for loved ones, one guide, one classroom, one heart at a time.
